I take the plastic bag
enter common restaurants
gather fish bones
for the wild cats of the
neighborhood
I talk with the musicians
in the dark theater wings
what a limitless distance I traverse
from your body
to your body.

El cuerpo -dice-
en genitivo: del cuerpo
y en general el cuerpo
otra palabra más densa no tengo
cojo la bolsa de plástico
entro en los comedores populares
recojo raspas
para los gatos silvestres del barrio
en los descansos -dice-
converso con los músicos
en los bastidores oscuros...
qué infinita distancia recorro
de tu cuerpo
a tu cuerpo.
