Cierto cansancio / Pablo Neruda

CIERTO CANSANCIO

No quiero estar cansado solo,
quiero que te canses conmigo.

Cómo no sentirse cansado
de cierta ceniza que cae
en las ciudades en otoño,
algo que ya no quiere arder,
y que en los trajes se acumula
y poco a poco va cayendo
destiñendo los corazones.

Estoy cansado del mar duro
y de la tierra misteriosa.
Estoy cansado de las gallinas:
nunca supimos lo que piensan,
y nos miran con ojos secos
sin concedernos importancia.

Te invito a que de una vez
nos cansemos de tantas cosas;
de los malos aperitivos
y de la buena educación.

Cansémonos de no ir a Francia
cansémonos de por lo menos
uno o dos días en la semana
que siempre se llaman lo mismo
como los platos en la mesa,
y que nos levantan, a qué?
y que nos acuestan sin gloria.

Digamos la verdad al fin,
que nunca estuvimos de acuerdo
con estos días comparables
a las moscas y a los camellos.

He visto algunos monumentos
erigidos a los titanes,
a los burros de la energía.
Allí los tienen sin moverse
con sus espadas en la mano
sobre sus tristes caballos.
Estoy cansado de las estatuas.
No puedo más con tanta piedra.

Si seguimos así llenando
con los inmóviles el mundo,
cómo van a vivir los vivos?

Estoy cansado del recuerdo.

Quiero que el hombre cuando nazca
respire las flores desnudas,
la tierra fresca, el fuego puro,
no lo que todos respiraron.

Dejen tranquilos a los que nacen!
Dejen sitio para que vivan!
No les tengan todo pensado,
no les lean el mismo libro,
déjenlos descubrir la aurora
y ponerle nombre a sus besos.

Quiero que te canses conmigo
de todo lo que está bien hecho.
De todo lo que nos envejece.
De lo que tienen preparado
para fatigar a los otros.

Cansémonos de lo que mata
y de lo que no quiere morir.

A CERTAIN WEARINESS

I don’t want to be tired alone,
I want you grow whit me.

How can we not be weary
of the king of fine ash
which falls on cities in autumn,
something which doesn’t quite burn,
which collects in jackets
and little by little settles,
discolouring the heart.

I’m tired of the harsh sea
and the mysterious earth.
I’m tired of the chickens –
we never know what they think,
and they look at us dry eyes
as though we were unimportant.

Let us for once – I invite you –
be tired of so many things,
of awful aperitifs,
of a good education.

Tired of not going to France,
tired of a least
one or two days in the week
which have always the same names
like dishes on the table,
and of getting up – what for? –
and going to be without glory.

Let us finally tell the truth:
we never thought much of
these days that are like
houseflies or camels.

I have seen some monuments
raised to titans,
to donkeys of industry.
They’re there, motionless,
with their swords in their hands
on their gloomy horses.
I’m tired of statues.
Enough of all that stone.

If we go on filling up
the world whit still things,
how can the living live?

I am tired of remembering.

I want men, when they’re born,
to breathe in naked flowers,
fresh soil, pure fire,
not just what everyone breathes.
Leave the newborn in peace!

Leave room for them to live!
Don’t think for them,
don’t read them the same book;
let them discover the dawn
and name their own kisses.

I want you to be weary with me
of all that is already well done,
of all that age us.
Of all that lies in wait
to wear out other people.

Let us be weary of what kills
and of what doesn’t want to die.

CERTA STANCHEZZA

Non voglio esser stanco solo,
voglio che ti stanchi con me.

Come non esser stanco
di certa cenere che cade
sulle città in autunno,
qualcosa che più non vuol ardere,
che s’accumula sui vestiti
e a poco a poco va cadendo
scolorando i cuori.

Son stanco del duro mare
E della terra misteriosa:
Son stanco delle galline:
mai abbiamo saputo cosa pensano,
e ci guardano con occhi asciutti
senza concederci importanza.

Ti invito perché finalmente
ci stanchiamo di tante cose,
dei cattivi aperitivi
e della buona educazione:

Stanchiamoci di non andare in Francia,
stanchiamoci perlomeno
d’uno o due giorni la settimana
che sempre si chiamano a un modo
come i piatti sulla tavola
e che ci destano,perché?
E che ci coricano senza gloria.

Diciamo alfine la verità
che mai siamo stati d’accordo
con questi giorni paragonabili
alle mosche e ai cammelli.

Ho visto i monumenti
innalzati ai titani,
agli asini dell’energia
Li tengono lì immobili
con le loro spade in mano
sopra quei tristi cavalli:
Sono stanco delle statue.
Non ne posso più di tanta pietra.

Se continuiamo a riempire così
con gli immobili il mondo,
come potranno vivere i vivi?

Sono stanco del ricordo.

Voglio che l’uomo quando nasce
respiri i fiori nudi,

TASTAMAM YORULMAK

Tek başıma yorulmak istemiyorum,
sen de benimle yorul istiyorum.

Nasıl yorulmaz insan
sonbaharda şehirlere
düşen o külden;
artık yanmak istemeyen şeyden,
giysilerde birikip
yürekleri soldurarak
yavaş yavaş düşenden?

Yoruldum hırçın denizden
gizemli topraktan yoruldum.
Yoruldum tavuklardan:
Hiç bilmeyiz ne düşünürler
ve hiç önem vermeden
kuru gözlerle bakarlar bize.

Yorulmaya çağırıyorum seni de
bir sürü şeyden ve bir kerede;
berbat aperatiflerden
ve iyi eğitimden.

Yorulalım Fransa’ya gitmemekten,
yorulalım en azından
bir iki gününden haftanın:
Masadaki tabaklar gibi
hep aynıdır adları
ve bizi uyandırırlar, niye?
Hiç keyifsiz uyuturlar yine.

Hadi, itiraf edelim artık
hiç anlaşamadık biz
sineklere ve develere
benzeyen bu günlerle.

Bir kaç heykel gördüm,
muktedirler için,
gayretkeş eşekler için dikilmiş.
Öylece duruyorlar, hiç hareketsiz,
ellerinde kılıçları
altlarında hüzünlü atları.
Anıtlardan yoruldum.
Daha dayanamam bu kadar taşa.

Eğer böyle hareketsizlerle
doldurmayı sürdürürsek dünyayı
nasıl yaşayacak yaşayanlar?

Hatırlamaktan yoruldum.

İstiyorum ki insan doğduğunda
çıplak çiçekler solusun,
taze toprak, saf ateş solusun;
herkesin soluduğunu değil.
Rahat bırakın yeni doğanları!

Yaşamaları için yer bırakın!
Onlar için düşünmeyin her şeyi,
aynı kitabı okumayın onlara
bırakın kendileri bulsun aydınlığı,
bırakın isim koysunlar öpmelerine.

Sen de benimle yorul istiyorum,
iyi yapılmış her şeyden.
Bizi yaşlandıran her şeyden.

Başkalarını bıktırmak için
hazırlanan şeylerden.

Yorulalım öldürenden
ve ölmek istemeyenden.
