La poesía / Pablo Neruda

LA POESIA

Y fue a esa edad... Llegó la poesía
a buscarme. No sé, no sé de dónde
salió, de invierno o río.
No sé cómo ni cuándo,
no, no eran voces, no eran
palabras, ni silencio,
pero desde una calle me llamaba,
desde las ramas de la noche,
de pronto entre los otros,
entre fuegos violentos
o regresando solo,
allí estaba sin rostro
y me tocaba.

Yo no sabía qué decir, mi boca
no sabía
nombrar,
mis ojos eran ciegos,
y algo golpeaba en mi alma,
fiebre o alas perdidas,
y me fui haciendo solo,
descifrando
aquella quemadura,
y escribí la primera línea vaga,
vaga, sin cuerpo, pura
tontería,
pura sabiduría
del que no sabe nada,
y vi de pronto
el cielo
desgranado
y abierto,
planetas,
plantaciones palpitantes,
la sombra perforada,
acribillada
por flechas, fuego y flores,
la noche arrolladora, el universo.

Y yo, mínimo ser,
ebrio del gran vacío
constelado,
a semejanza, a imagen
del misterio,
me sentí parte pura
del abismo,
rodé con las estrellas,
mi corazón se desató en el viento.

POETRY

And it was at that time... Poetry came
to find me. Don’t know, don’t know from where,
it leapt, winter or the river.
Don’t know how or when
no, not words, not
voices, not silence,
but I was called from the street,
from the branches of the night,
suddenly, from the others,
in violent flames,
or coming back alone,
I, without a face,
it touched me.

I did not know how to say, my mouth
no names,
my eyes
were blind,
and something began in my soul,
fever or lost wings,
and I made it alone,
deciphering,
that fire,
and I wrote the first, vague line,
vague, without a body, pure
nonsense,
pure knowledge,
of he who knows nothing,
and suddenly saw
the sky
unlock
and open,
planets,
pulsating spaces,
perforated shadows,

riddled
with fires, flowers, flights,
the revolving night, the universe.
And I the smallest thing,
made drunk by the great void,
starred,
in the image, likeness
of mystery,
felt myself pure part
of abyss,
turned with the starlight,
my heart broken loose in the wind.

LA POESIA

E fu a quell'età... Venne la poesia
a cercarmi: Non so, non so, da dove
usci', da quale inverno o fiume.
Non sò come nè quando,
no, non erano voci, non erano
parole, nè silenzio,
ma da una strada mi chiamava, dai rami della notte,
all'improvviso tra gli altri,
tra fuochi violenti
o mentre rincasavo solo
era li' senza volto
e mi toccava.

Io non sapevo che cosa dire, la mia bocca
non sapeva
chiamare per nome
i miei occhi erano ciechi,
e qualcosa pulsava nella mia anima,
febbre o ali perdute,
e mi formai da solo,
decifrando
quella bruciatura,
e scrissi il primo verso vago,
vago, senza corpo, pura
sciocchezza,
pura saggezza
di colui che nulla sa,
e vidi all'improvviso
il cielo
sgranato
e aperto,
pianeti,
piantagioni palpitanti,
l'ombra trafitta,
crivellata
da frecce, fuoco e fiori,
la notte travolgente, l'universo.

E io, minimo essere,
ebbro del grande vuoto
costellato,
a somiglianza, a immagine
del mistero,
mi sentii parte pura
dell'abisso,
ruotai insieme alle stelle,
il mio cuore si distese nel vento.

LA POESIE

Et ce fut à cet âge... La poésie
vint me chercher.
et me touchait.
Je ne savais que dire, ma bouche
ne savait pas
nommer,
mes yeux étaient aveugles,
et quelque chose cognait dans mon âme,
fièvre ou ailes perdues,
je me formai seul peu à peu,
déchiffrant
cette brûlure,
et j'écrivis la première ligne confuse,
confuse, sans corps, pure
ânerie,
pur savoir
je me sentis pure partie
de l'abîme,
je roulai avec les étoiles,
mon coeur se dénoua dans le vent.

ŞİİR

Hem de tam o yaşta… Beni arayan şiir
birden geliverdi. Bilmiyorum, nerden geldi.
kıştan mı, bir nehirden mi bilmiyorum.
Kim bilir nasıl ve ne zaman.
hayır, sesler değildi, sözcükler
değildi, ne de sessizlikte gelen,
ama bir sokaktan çağrılıyordum,
gecenin dallarından,
birdenbire başka yerlerden,
azgın yangınlar içinden
ya da bir başıma dönerken,
orada yüzüm bile belirsiz,
gelip bana dokunuverdi.
Ne diyeceğimi bilemedim.
ona bir ad
bulamadım.
gözlerim görmüyordu,
ama bir şeyler kıpırdadı içimde,
bir ateş, yada unutulmuş kanatlar,
ve kendi başıma buldum
o ateşin şifresini
nasıl çözeceğimi
ve öyle yazdım ilk belirsiz dizeyi,
belirsiz, güçsüz tümüyle,
saçma sapan,
hiç bir şey bilmeyen birinin
tüm bilgeliği,
ve birden göklerin
çözülüp
açıldığını
gezegenleri
rüzgarda titreşen
ekim alanlarını
gölgeleri delinmiş,
oklarla, yangınlarla, çiçeklerle
kalbura dönmüş
sarmal geceyi, evreni
gördüm.

Ve ben bir zerrecik,
gizemin benzeri,
imgesi,
bu koca yıldızlı boşlukla
sarhoş,
bu sınırsızlığın
bir parçası olduğumu
hissettim,
yüreğim rüzgarlarla özgür
yıldızlarla yarıştım.
