La reina / Pablo Neruda

LA REINA

Yo te he nombrado reina.

Pablo Neruda

(Los versos del capitán, 1952)

THE QUEEN

I have named you queen.
There are taller ones than you, taller.
There are purer ones than you, purer.
There are lovelier than you, lovelier.

But you are the queen.

When you go through the streets
no one recognizes you.
No one sees your crystal crown, no one looks
at the carpet of red gold
that you tread as you pass,
the nonexistent carpet.

And when you appear all the rivers sound
in my body, bells
shake the sky, and a hymn fills the world.

Only you and I,
only you and I, my love,
listen to it.

Pablo Neruda

THE QUEEN

I have appointed you queen.
There are greater women than you, greater.
There are purer women than you, purer.
There are more beautiful women than you, there are.

But you are the queen.

When you walk through the streets
no one recognises you.
No one sees your crystal crown, no one notices
the carpet of red gold
you tread as you pass,
the carpet that does not exist.

And when you appear
all the rivers roar
in my body, bells
shake the heavens,
and the world is filled with a hymn.

Only you and I,
only you and I, my love,
only we hear it.

Pablo Neruda

(Les Vers du Capitaine, 1952)

LA REGINA

Io ti ho nominato regina.
Ve n'è di più alte di te, di più alte.
Ve né di più pure di te, di più pure.
Ve né di più belle di te, di più belle.

Ma tu sei la regina.

Quando vai per le strade
nessuno ti riconosce.

tutti i fiumi risuonano
nel mio corpo, scuotono
il cielo le campane,
e un inno empie il mondo.

Tu sola ed io,
tu sola ed io, amor mio,
lo udiamo.

Pablo Neruda

(I Versi Del Capitano, 1952)

KRALİÇE

Kraliçe diyorum sana.
Senden daha uzun kadınlar var, daha uzun.
Senden daha temiz kadınlar var, daha temiz.
Senden daha güzel kadınlar var, daha güzel.

Fakat kraliçe sensin.

Dolaştığın zaman caddelerde,
kimse dikkat etmez sana.
Kimse görmez kristal tacını, kimse bakmaz
yolunda yürürken bastığın
kızıl altından halıya,
var olmayan o halıya.

Ve görünce seni,
ses verir bütün ırmaklar
bedenimde, sarsar
çanlar göğü,
ve doldurur evreni bir ilâhi.

Yalnızca sen ve ben,
yalnızca sen ve ben, ey sevgilim,
kulak veririz buna.
